I decided to change creative direction on this single, and to embody the character of Rick Blaine from one of my favorite all time movies Casablanca. I was looking for some kind of heroic love to embrace, and in that journey, I got to work with an amazing team of people. On Casablanca Love, my pal and previous Black Jackal collaborator Dan Konopka (OK Go) plays drums, mixes and co-produces,
joined by Sean Hurley on bass, Rob Manzoli (Right Said Fred) on guitar, and harmonies by stunning female vocalist Brittney Bouchard.
