Lunacy’s back We're two of a kind When we're hanging out Always hanging on For dear life It couldn't be right If there’s no doubt If there’s no disguise There's no reply To my surprise One more dead end There's no turning back From my fate Lunacy's Back Playing the game Tips his hat While he draws his cane On the great escape He's you and me As lives go down Down the drain He's alive here to stay There's no reply To my surprise One more dead end There's no turning back From my fate

No One Else 03:44
If you knew how much I wanted If I told you why You tie me up inside I stand naked on the cliff side With those particles They put me back together baby Makes me believe For once If you only knew how much I thought about no one else Can't express this loneliness When I was standing on the bridge What if I was At the bottom of the lake I was meant to fall in love I was meant to fall in love You knew what I was thinking That only made it worse The way you make me hurt I stand naked on the tentacle Guard those particles They fill me up entirely baby Makes me believe For once I've thrown it all away for less I'll keep my jealousy to a two Higher love exists and it wants to laugh I don't want to fall behind again One of these days I'll learn to behave To feel the bottom of the lake The bottom
3.
The Hunger 03:43
I feel the hunger tonight Got my blood to a boil Will you cure me somehow? Before I imitate I feel the hunger tonight In an of urge of desire When you kill me with surprise Don't hesitate (cmon cmon cmon) From the moment we met cmon baby I can't change alone Alone I've been searching for my kind And be that as it may My friend is in trouble now Gonna get to her side Gotta have first bite (cmon cmon cmon) From the moment we met cmon baby I can't change fate alone Alone I feel the Hunger tonight I feel the Hunger tonight I feel the Hunger tonight I feel the Hunger tonight

Black Jackal 04:14
No escape From a world all forlorn Where nothing explains We are the long shot to play it right I'll do what it takes This way I Will arrive Unshackled I'll make my move Black Jackal Carry on through the years I'll make my own Black Jackal No escape From the mind within Creates a strange weight The black sun is waiting to be portrayed Beware as I I have arrived Unshackled I'll make my move Black Jackal Carry on erase the years I'll make my home Black Jackal I'll stay I'll stay In the shade of Black Jackal I can hear your cry I can hear your sorrow I can flame your cry I can fuel your sorrow I can heal your cry I can heal your sorrow With Black Jackal With Black Jackal With Black Jackal Don't let the sun catch you crying Don't let the sun catch you crying

Right to the point Kiss the poison arrow You can't back up all your friends all at once So keep it all I'm too pale I don't mind anymore Hold back the night I won't look Too far ahead I think I'll rest My destiny With the end drawing near Going down with the ship My baby boy You hold on To that soft dream Save your strength For what will become I will feel your love I will feel your love I will feel your love Since I was born I could feel too much The search for it reveals The time is spent This is where it ends Going down with the ship My baby boy You hold on To that soft dream Don't say a word Don't say anything I can feel your love I can feel your love I can feel your love
6.
Acres on the moon Coming on the scene Venoms are full It's in the news And I long to be free Don't let me out In the howling moon I disappear Derelict heart goes full steam ahead Acres on the move Spinning by themselves They're all guaranteed To start anew And I long to be free Open the door In the howling moon I'll be there Derelict heart goes down deeper still Derelict heart goes full steam ahead Acres of diamonds You'll never find them Acres of diamonds You'll never find them Acres of diamonds You'll never find them
7.
Pick me up Up above The let down So you've got no pulse I can sympathize I tried so hard to get back to you amidst disguise I pray upon the pulpit when I wanna survive back in the light Here I find No I never came to realize There's always always something to it Always something to it Always something to it Of course there's no reprise There are no more words to be said in the middle of the night It's no wonder we've been growing into other lives Now I find no I never came to realize There's always always something to it Always something to it Always something to it Always something to it Pick me up Up above The let down Shut it off Before I become A silly notion I hardly recognize I don't know how I just gotta make it back in one piece and stay alive I pray upon the pulpit when I wanna survive back in the light Always something to it when you're giving me that look When everything goes wrong And I am left alone I have realized There's always something to it

I feel nervous Don't come any closer Always danger I've played the part Of the threatened pawn Moving in alarms as it hangs in the heart I've tried to rise above But I lost everything I love Down there in the gutters with the stares There's always sounds that come in the night Too long I've been waiting for the sun To give rise turn back on Fallout destroying between us Bringing out the monster There's a killer here amongst us and them Between us and them I feel nervous Don't come in closer Always danger I felt the power waving all alone Sending in the men for one last fight My fear won't save me from the tears Trespassing everything I know Down there in the gutters with the stares There's always sounds that come in the night Too long I've been waiting for the sun To give rise turn back on Fallout destroying between us Bringing out the monster There's a killer here amongst us and them Between us and them
9.
I thought it would end When I changed into a man Strayed away From the good son The thirst I overcome When will I realize I don't want to hurt again If only I could ascend Take me to her again Atone Came to expect That I must pretend To make the grade But I would rather die In your arms In your eyes Alone I don't want to hurt again Light me up oblivion Move me to that room again Alone I don't wanna die alone Hold me close as if I've won On the last train tonight Make me a star Paint me a smile Bring me back my good again

Walk Alone 04:16
I come alive when it's time to walk on by It feels right so right I forget that I fell from grace And I came to I walk alone place to place Face to face Now it's time to get on by To get on by One last wave goodbye One last touch goodbye We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight The prime example We could have been a miracle long Waiting to happen We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight I walk alone I walk alone I walk alone One last wave goodbye One last touch goodbye We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight The prime example We could have been a miracle long Waiting to happen We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight We could've been love at first sight Love at first sight

about

Following up on his critically acclaimed second solo album, In Other Words, multi-instrumentalist and Alaskan, Paul Jacks, explores solitude and his identity in an ever-changing world. The backdrop for his new album, Black Jackal, is an apocalyptic world and its aftermath. Drawing from Egyptian mythology, Jacks takes on a futuristic persona with Black Jackal to explore the transition to the afterlife.
